Vintage Car Rental – Overview

Minimum Age Requirement

The minimum age to rent and drive our classic cars is 25 years old.

Driving License Requirements

You must hold a valid European driving license or an International Driving Permit (IDP) valid in Italy.

Pick-up & Delivery

The standard delivery point is Amalfi Terminal, in front of the Amalfi Terminal Bar. Delivery to other locations can be arranged in advance, subject to agreement.

Rental Duration & Times

The daily rental period is from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Multi-day rentals are available, provided the client ensures secure overnight parking for the vehicle.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full unless otherwise agreed upon with our staff.

Transmission Type & Driving Test

All our vehicles are equipped with manual transmission. To ensure safety, a short driving test with our staff is mandatory before the rental is confirmed. Amalfi Vintage reserves the right to refuse the rental based on the evaluation of driving skills.

Insurance

All rentals include RCA insurance. Please note that full coverage for damage or accidents is not available. Clients are fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.

Traffic Violations & Fines

Any traffic fines or penalties incurred during the rental period will be charged directly to the client.

Allowed Driving Areas

Vehicles can only be driven along the Amalfi Coast (from Positano to Salerno) and the Sorrento Peninsula (from Sorrento to Castellammare di Stabia). Driving outside these areas is not permitted.

Accessibility & Safety Notice

Our vintage vehicles are not wheelchair accessible and are not equipped with modern child safety features. They are not suitable for infants, young children, or pregnant women. By booking, clients release Amalfi Vintage from any liability regarding these conditions.

Vehicle Capacity

Each vintage car can accommodate up to  2 passengers, including the driver.

Payment Methods

We accept payments by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, American Express, Discover, and Aurora).

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled rental time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time are non-refundable. Changes made less than 24 hours before the rental start time are not accepted. Cut-off times are based on the local time of the rental location.
